“The Italian Job”: This years’ Torpedo Run was held between 11th September 2009 and 13th September 2009. The anniversary edition of the extraordinary mobile party - it was already the fifth annual Torpedo Run in succession - lead the drivers to Italy, the home country of well known supercars: Salzburg (Austria) - Dolomites (Italy) - Florence (Italy) - Lago Maggiore (Italy) were the stages in 2009. New challenges and action-packed events awaited the participants at all times to give them a once in a lifetime experience. It was a long weekend of sheer fun the like of which you will never have experienced before!

In total there were 3 days loaded with luxury hotels, sensational events, gourmet food and eccentric parties. Additionally the route offered amazing streets, some of the most spectacular and breathtaking mountain passes to experience the thrill of the Alps. It was a real shot of adrenaline and the trip of a life time!

The locations and venues this year wee something not to be missed: Starting in Salzburg (Austria) the Torpedo Runners drove across spectacular high mountain roads to an impressive luxury domicile in the heart of the Alps. In elegant Florence we partied with southern spirits. The Grand Final took place at Lago Maggiore - a venue of the international jet set. Again the participants experienced special highlights during the Torpedo Run. Each night they stayed in luxury hotels to enjoy the special amenities - the cream of the crop.

Exclusive sportscars join the Torpedo Run every year, e. g. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and American muscle power. But the particiants also drive exotics and wacky cars, e. g. a highered Hummer H2, Caterhams and not to forget the “Daisy Patrol” and their Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph stickered up like a US police car. Whether you are driving a hot supercar, a luxury sedan, a classical or wacky car - your passion for the Torpedo Run is what counts!

Torpedo Run is NOT a race. It's the journey and the memories that count - an amazing experience that you will never forget. There is no timing and no competition. Torpedo Run unites the international participants by one common language: car enthusiasm and the flair of a mobile party!
