This year’s motto "The Thrill of the Mountains" was the common theme throughout the whole event. Apart from touristic areas, the route lead the entrants through the wonderland of corners in the high alps, where you still find real challenges with tight serpentines, behind which mostly an abyss is waiting. The Torpedo Run is characterized by the alpine roads for insiders, combined with spectacular events and the thereby resulting pure thrill.

Corvette ZR1, Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series, Nissan GT-R, Aston Martin as well as Ferrari and Lamborghini - even this selection of cars let the hearts of true car enthusiasts leap on the Torpedo Run.These high-end sports cars drove over the snow line in the Alps and on a sunny race track in the South of France, which was hired only for the Torpedo Runners.

The Torpedo Runners definitely have fuel running through their blood: that's why the motorized fun was in the foreground at most event. The organizers surprised the participants with an extreme offroad-quad tour in the mountains, but also with a Flying Fox in 200 meters above the ground to even increase the thrill - there is no innocuous variation of the Torpedo Run.

The Torpedo Run started at one of the most exclusive locations of St. Moritz, Switzerland. To be specific, in Pontresina’s luxurious Grand Hotel Kronenhof, which is a five star hotel and belongs to the architectonic standout hotels in the Alps. The cornering fun began directly after the departure. Crash barriers? Mostly none! No surprise, that cars have already fallen from the tight but also fascinating Passo del Gavia. To even increase the automobile joy, this impressive passage was almost free of traffic.

Where to roads in the mountains end, the fun with a quad just starts. The big wheel powerhouses offered pure driving pleasure and action in a difficult nature environment. During the one hour tour, the Torpedo Runners went to the wilderness, crossed rivers, climbed hillsides and drove over dirt roads at full speed. The off-road quad tour gave us a lot of action with a high rate of fun.

After some more captivating alpine passes, the Torpedo Run drove to the overnight stay in the Italian car city of Torino. Torino is known for being one of the most beautiful baroque cities in Europe because of its pompous palaces. The Torpedo Runners stayed right in the historic center of Torino in the luxurious five-star Hotel "Principi di Piemonte". Surprise: for all Teams, suites have been reserved. Of course, a delicious fine dining menu was set up for the participants, before they entered the night life of Torino.
